Registration & Basic Rules

1. Your account name must be the name of your character. So if your account name is Mr. Booboo Kitty, that must be the name of your character, as simple as that. Of course, you can use your characters nicknames and such.

2. You may create up to three characters. One Character per account. However one account may be Elite, the 2nd Semi-Elite and the 3rd has to be Non-Elite.

3. Please respect all other members of the site. This means no petty or nasty arguments, foul language, spam or anything else deemed unnecessary or rude. If you have a problem with another user or even one of our staff members, please PM an appropriate member of staff and they will deal with the issue as best they can. Failure to comply with this rule will result in warnings, followed by suspension and then a ban. There must be no rudeness, insulting posts, personal attacks or flaming attacks to Administrators or any other member of the staff.

4. We ask you to please maintain a consistent high-standard of role-play on this site. Please try to keep spelling, grammar and punctuation as accurate as you can. This will help everyone understand and enjoy their roleplay with you and other members. Consistency is key, we all hate hustlers, and we won’t allow it here, people don’t suddenly and magically type 5,000 words, and the next post do 10. Consistency. (Some exceptions exclude topic content.)

5. Only members of staff may post on application threads (character, weapon, ability) If you are not a member of staff and you post on one such thread, your post will be deleted and you may receive a warning.

6. Please do not spam outside of a sub-forum that gives the ability for spam posting. We will delete posts and issue warnings if you do not adhere to this rule.

7. Please refrain from double-posting. Instead, edit your previous post. Unless you are in a topic alone. In which you may post with yourself as much as you like as long as each post has 500 words or more per post.

8. This forum is M for Mature. If you want to warn someone of a topic having mature content by putting [M] in the title, you may. It is not required, however, due to the forum itself being rated M.

9. We don’t allow the use of god modding, meta gaming, bunnying (hopping from place to place in the same of a few moments), power playing, pop ups (Showing up for one post then leaving), magical sense (Your character feeling, "I’m in East Blue… but I feel the need to go to South Blue..now"), innate abilities to sense allies in danger, code word for character registration is consistency, or spamming of techniques of any level or rank or type.

10. Advertising your own site is permitted, but only in the 'Advertisement' sub-forum. Read the rules in that section to find out more. Anyone caught advertising in the chatbox or elsewhere will be dealt with by a member of staff.

11. Our staff members are busy people and have their own lives to lead. Please do not bug them about checking applications unless absolutely necessary, such as in it has not been touched for days.

12. If you're going to be absent more then 2 days, you should write it in the Absence topic or report to administration, and preferably act out your character's disappearance.

13. If a member wasn't on the forum for 2 days, it's allowed to describe his/hers character's minor actions (traveling with a group of characters he/she is with, controlling his actions in battle if he/she isn't available, etc). Meaning, when two days expire for your opponent to post his response to your attack, you can connect your attack on your opponent.

14. Don't create superheroes or Mary / Gary Sues (perfect characters).

15. Be patient. Not everyone can sit on the computer all day - wait for other characters to reply.

16. Your roleplay posts must be at least 150 words or more. One liners will not be tolerated.

17. You can only write in third person, without using the asterisk(**).

18. Your message should contain actions, thoughts and speech of your character. Your character's thoughts are to be written in italics, another color or simply put in quotations stating those words were thoughts. Speech and dialogue are either to be written in bold or colored differently than your main text.

19. No hidden attacks, that is to say your post should be relevant. If you make an attack and have 800 words describing a flower or a flashback, then whoever is in your topic can tell the staff, and we will remove any irrelevant info. That isn't to say you cannot make long posts, but when one sentence is about the attack, and the rest is random about your character's home town, it doesn't quite fit.

20. Once a character exits a thread, he must indicate where he is going next at the bottom of his exit post.

21. Failure to keep up with the post word count minimum will allow the staff to edit your posts to fit the minimum. Do not feel bad if your character is found kissing a guy, and is a guy due to your own lack of following the rules.

22. You cannot initiate and endless amount of actions at the same time in one post, meaning don't abuse the amount of actions you can complete in a post.

23. Play logically - If your character can't make a clone of himself, he cannot be in two places at the same time. In other words, no posting in multiple topics. The person's character must act exactly like he described when he submitted the profile. For example, if you said your character is generally melancholy, they shouldn't be smiling at everyone in the street they happen to pass by.

24. You cannot just kill another character with a single, sentence; be detailed - phrases like "I came and stabbed him in the head" or "I dodged" will be ignored and deleted.

25. You can destroy an entire village or town or even a city IF you have the appropriate power to do so.

26. You may not destroy any of these places in a single post, it must be completed in a long, detailed process.

27. If you destroy an area, at the end of the topic please post the following message indicated in the spoiler, not many areas to have being all destroyed and such permanently.

  • Automatic Reboot of City: A Few Days later: The city/village/island was rebuilt/restored, and a few members of the population where brought back to life by the use of a certain illegal means, most likely Blood Magic. The city/village/island was bustling/thriving and everything seemed to had returned to normal. It was as if nothing ever happened as nasty forces are at work, one may assume demons possess many denizens or are feeding off of them somehow...

28. Destroying an area with no PC's (Playable Characters) around means you won't gain anything.

29. Certain areas have stronger NPC's, and we suggest you Role Play accordingly or risk have your actions temporarily negated. (Nobody has complete damage immunity, just resistance. No going around as a knight smiting everything your way assuming the hammer that hit you across the face won't damage you. [Such things are traits of Mary / Gary Sues])

30. You can not attack the same place more then once. Meaning no constantly destroying the same building / city / etc. over and over again.

31. If you loophole the system by exploiting a lack of a rule, staff reserve the right to grandfather a rule into effect that will negate your loophole exploitation. This, however, is on a case-by-case basis according to how serious the loophole is.

32. You cannot control a character other than your own without the character's user's consent. Doing so is a form of god-modding and is illegal on this site.

These rules are subject to change at any moment as the Grand Line staff see fit.
